This product is an analogue control system manufactured by HORNBY under the part number HOR7229. It is used to control miniature trains on a DC powered circuit.
Instructions for use
This analogue control system has two main functions:
- 1 round red button. It is used to control the speed of an electric locomotive. Turn this variator to change the speed of the convoy.
- 1 red rectangular button. This is used to change the direction of travel of the convoy from forward to reverse.
This device is equipped with a secondary control:
- 1 Hi/Lo button. It allows you to choose between two speed ranges: one slow and one normal.
Branches
To connect this control system, it is imperative to use a transformer giving an output voltage of 19 V (not included in this pack). Then connect the control box lead to the power rail. Place the locomotive on the rails, set the steering control knob to forward and turn the knob to move the rolling stock forward. This control system is equipped with a 14 V auxiliary DC output. This allows you to supply your various accessories, such as the LED lighting, with 14 V DC power.
