This miniature SAI-branded vehicle (réf. 2940) is an HO-scale reproduction of a Saviem SG2 van delivered by Renault Service. This light commercial vehicle, also known as the Super Goétte SG2, was manufactured by Saviem and Renault from June 1965. From its inception, the SG range was marketed under the name Saviem, which was founded in 1955 through the merger of the HGV activities of Renault, Latil and Somua. Renault-Saviem SG vans are assembled at the Blainville-sur-Orne plant in Normandy.
