A little bit of history:
In 1986, MAN unveiled the F90, a brand-new generation of trucks featuring a modern driver's cab, taking over from the previous series, the F9. The F90 model series was equipped with the latest engines from the development of its predecessor. The top-of-the-range engine was now rated at 460 hp, initially giving MAN the highest performance among European road trucks, before being increased to 500 hp. The model range offered different chassis lengths and axle configurations. In addition, numerous special structures were available via external suppliers.
