This set Trix provides the Coffret 4 M2 type passenger coaches, à l'échelle HO 1/87ème under reference 23221, which has the following characteristics:
- Comprising 4 passenger carriages, fitted with green livery, for a total length of 1106 mm and a minimum curve radius of 360 mm. These passenger carriages were put into service by the SNCB / NMBS railway company à from the III model.
- Made from plastic, these railcars use the direct current "2 rail" operating system.
- These Trix passenger coaches are all equipped with interior lighting, and are fitted with 1st and 2nd class compartments.
A short history of M2 passenger coaches:
M2 coaches are passenger coaches used by the SNCB railway company, for regional domestic traffic. Between 1958 and 1960, 620 of them were built, and they have now been withdrawn from service.
Continuing the construction of the M1 cars, this was the largest series of cars ordered by the SNCB.

The manufacturer Trix conçoit model trains in the HO: 1/87ème scale. These rolling stock are renowned for their robustness and sense of détail getting as close as possible to the original models. Trix mainly produces motrices under an operating system continuous current, calledé "2 rails". But most of their products are also designed under an alternative "3 rail" system by manufacturer Marklin.
