Under reference REE Models WB683, here is a Set of 2 OCEM 19 Covered wagons, to scale HO 1/87th registration KKuw 229005 and KKwf 241572, which has the following features:
- Closed shutters.
- One wagon with guardhouse.
- One solid wheel wagon and one radius wheel wagon.
- "2 track" DC models, fitted with black fittings and a bungalow.
- Short kinematic coupling to NEM 362 standard.
- Filigree parts, finely detailed printing and painting.
- Wagon running for the SNCF railway company during Era II.
A little touch of history:
The boxcar is a type of railway machine with the purpose of transporting water-fearing goods or fragile cargo. These wagons consist of a body generally made of wood, covered by waterproof materials to ensure the protection of the goods.
For loading and unloading, these models are equipped with two wide side doors. We call this type of wagon a "BoxCar" in North America.
