Vollmer GmbH & Co.KG, or Vollmer, is a German manufacturer of models and accessories intended for miniature iron roads. It was founded in June 1948 and its initial activity was the manufacture of metal collar buttons. At the same time, it also began to develop the manufacture of plastic model train accessories and presented a patented catenary system for miniature toy trains on a scale HO 1/87th at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1949.
