This Märklin mLD3 encoder (ref. 60972) can be used to control a miniature locomotive with a digital controller. The locomotive must have the necessary socket to connect the encoder, whether digital or analogue. Only Märklin/Trix locomotives in the HO scale equipped with a high-performance DC motor are compatible.
