The T170 self-propelled loader was produced in the GDR from the mid-1950s and was used in agriculture and on construction sites.With its own engine, it travelled only 3.5 km/h "quickly".It could be towed at speeds of up to 20 km/h. The 6.3 m-long boom, made up of two tubes, was raised and lowered using ropes.With the 10 hp engine, then the 13 hp engine, it was possible to lift up to 0.8 t.
