Installation of this Marklin 74491 turnout motor is very simple and requires no special tools.
You can use the Marklin 74999 screwdriver for installation.
The Marklin 74491 motor is protected against overload thanks to a end-of-stroke release.
It is equally suitable for Marklin and Trix turnouts.
Feedback signalling is automatic with a Marklin 72710 control box allowing you to know the position of the turnout remotely by simple light indication.
For digital use of your Marklin/Trix turnouts, you can use the Marklin 74462 decoder.
The Marklin 74491 turnout motor is powered by AC/DC 16 V.
It also comes with 3 plugs for connection to control boxes.
For a Triple turnout, 2 motors are required.
