A little touch of history:
The G4 type boxcar was put into service by the SNCF company from 1963. These railway models belonged to the last series of 2-axle boxcars to be mass-produced. The G4 model is offered in 3 versions:
- The classic goods version: G4.2 or G40.2.
- The G41.6 version for transporting livestock.
- The specific version for transporting primeur produce: G69.6.
