History:
The Ford Sierra is a car produced by Ford between 1982 and 1993. It replaced the Taunus in Europe (Ford Cortina in the UK) and was itself replaced by the Mondéo. At the time, the car's signature Patrick le Qué ment styling was a hit, and sales soon began to take off. 2,750,000 Sierras were produced, mainly in Germany, Belgium (Genk), the UK, Argentina and South Africa.
