A short history of the "Hahnenkamm" :
Hahnenkamm has an altitude of 1712 metres, and dominates the coastal Austrian winter sports resort of Kitzbühel. Several televisions have been installed to follow the annual Hahnenkamm ski race.
.The lower station is right in the centre of Kitsbühel, 1658 metres above sea level, reachable in 15 minutes. The lift, built in 1929, spans a height difference of 872 metres over a distance of 2356 metres. The cabins sleep up to 6 people, who will be able to admire the panoramic view of the Alps.
