Description

The small straight rail Marklin reference24071 in scale HO 1/87th measures 70.8 mm and features removable ballast embankments for use with slender switches and crossings references 24711/24712/24740.

The Marklin power supply system is commonly referred to as "3-rail system" or "AC system" for alternating current.

In fact, rolling stock such as locomotives, wagons, or even passenger carriages requiring power thus capture the current via the three metal rails.

This Marklin alternating current (3 rails) system stands out for its reliability and guarantees no power cuts to your model railway network.

The imitation wood railway sleepers and ballast are finely reproduced. The aesthetic appearance of the rail is realistic.

The track profile is made of a metal alloy called "Maillechort" of high quality which guarantees a long life as well as simplified maintenance.

The power supply for your network is made via invisible contacts under the rails. This electrical connection is easily made without soldering thanks to Marklin power supply brackets reference 74040.

The Marklin rails are hooked together using a very robust clip system which allows infinite assembly and disassembly. These rails are therefore ideal for temporary and permanent mounting.
