The original is a luggage van operated by the Swiss Federal Railways in the 1970s. At that time, the Swiss railways ordered 10 vehicles of this type to transport passengers' luggage. These were X-type carriages, which were very common on the Swiss rail network at the time. This international standard was established in 1961 by the International Union of Railways.
This model faithfully reproduces the Dms version of this railway vehicle, which therefore corresponds to the SBB's luggage vans. The green walls stamped with the former SBB logo and the grey roof are characteristic of the rolling stock of this brand in Switzerland.
