The brand REE Modèles offers under reference MB163SAC, the Diesel railcar X-2816 from the Lyon-Vaise depot, in scale HO : 1/87th, which has the following features:
- Multiple unit having run for the SNCFduring the IV and V era, in a blue and white (modernised) livery.
- Model offered in its digital sound, alternating current 3 rails version.
- This machine has a number of sound and digital functions as well as LED lighting.
- NEM coupling and plastic bodywork.
- X-2800 railcar with a length of 319 mm for a minimum curve radius of 420 mm.
A little touch of history:
A total of 119 X-2800 series railcars were produced, and delivered on 28 May 1957 to the Carmaux depot (Tarn) for the SNCF company. This was the most powerful single-box, single-engine railcar of its time, with an engine developing 825 hp. Its longevity remains exemplary, as this model was used for 52 years (1957 - 2009)!
