This model made by Roco (réf. 74037) is a reproduction of a four-car Railjet passenger train operated by the <39;Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB), the Austrian railways. The manufacturer was inspired by the state of operation of this train in 2017. The frame consists of two economy-class passenger carriages, including one end carriage, a dining carriage and a pilot carriage. This livery runs between Vienna Central Station and Salzburg. The interior furnishings of the various classes have been faithfully reproduced by Roco. These miniature railcars are designed to run on a miniature rail network at HO scale.
The Railjet is a high-speed train operating in Austria and Czech Republic. It is a derivative of the BB. It is made up of reversible trains that can run in both directions thanks to a driver car located opposite the locomotive. Brought into service in April 2008, this push-pull train can reach speeds of 230 km/h in commercial service - its record speed is 275 km/h. The contents of this set are compatible with the electric locomotive 1116 153 bearing reference 78509 in the Roco catalogue.
