Thisrailroad vehicle à l&39;eeacute;chelle N is a model accessory from the brand Hobbytrain (référence 24203). It is a freight wagon of the K2 type, a unified type of wagon used by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) in the 20th century to transport freight.
Switzerland's state-owned train company, SBB, was born out of the nationalisation of several private companies in 1903. These rail transport companies had established common standards aimed at unifying their fleet of rail vehicles operating on the Swiss network. Acquired in 1902, the K2 freight wagons are a perfect illustration of this. These small freight vehicles took the form of a wooden body mounted on 2 axles. Their shape evolved over time and SBB used them very late in the 20th century. This N scale miniature wagon represents a K2 type wagon as it ran in the II era. It has a brake handle, an aluminium door and spoke wheels.
