This set of three freight wagons is a Hobbytrain brand product (référence 24301). These models are reproductions of freight wagons of the L6 Fbkk type that used to run on the Swiss rail network on behalf of SBB, the state-owned railway company.
In the early 1920s, Swiss Federal Railways acquired around 1,000 type L6 wagons for coal transport. These rail vehicles were made of wood and steel. Some versions are equipped with a brake guide. To transport the scrap, SBB also had 318 class L6 Fbkk wagons built with raised side walls. This model finely reproduces a Fbkk wagon livery dating from the 70s and 80s. It has a brake guide.
