This miniature train set is a Hobbytrain brand product (référence 24302). It contains reproductions of freight wagons type L6 Fbkk of SBB, the Swiss state railway company.
In the 1920s, the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) purchased more than 1,000 L6 type trailer vehicles to transport coal. These wooden and steel wagons are sometimes fitted with brake guards. To complete their fleet, SBB also ordered 318 class L6 Fbkk wagons with raised side walls. They were designed to transport scrap metal. This model train was inspired by Fbkk wagons in their working condition in the 70s and 80s. It has a brake handle and bears the SBB logo.
