The originals are L6 open wagons designed to transport coal on the Swiss rail network. CFF, the Swiss national railway company, ordered almost 1,000 of them between 1918 and 1923. The chassis of these two-axle trailers was made of metal, but the body was made of wood.This model train was inspired by a version in circulation between 1946 and 1970. The carriages have a platform brakemen.
