These models are HO scale reproductions of three Railjet passenger carriages from the Austrian Federal Railways (Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB). They are offered by Roco under reference 74040.
Railjet passenger coaches are passenger train coaches operated by the Austrian railway company Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB). These coaches are used on international rail routes in Central Europe, particularly between Vienna, Salzburg, Zurich and Munich. Railjet coaches offer enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers, with reclining seats, power sockets and free Wi-Fi connections on board. The carriages are also equipped with modern toilets, spacious luggage compartments and air conditioning systems for a pleasant journey in all seasons. As well as standard carriages, Railjet trains also offer first-class carriages with more spacious seats and additional equipment. Railjet trains are equipped with powerful electric motors for optimum performance and a maximum speed of 230 km/h. The trains are also equipped with modern safety systems, such as the electronic braking system and the speed monitoring system, to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for passengers.
