The ZIMO brandoffers a Miniature Decoder under part number MX671R compatible for HO 1/87 and N 1/160 scale railroad equipment.
This digital module is ideal for powering end of train lights for cars, vans and wagons.
The features of this digital accessory under part number MX671R:
- MX671R ZIMO decoders have 8 pins, and must be plugged into a NEM 652 female connector. The reverse connection is not harmful, however the functions will be reversed.
- The brown wire is out of the connector, it is to be connected to the component wishing to be activated.
- This device delivers 700 Ma (0.7 A) to the outputs, for a maximum voltage of 35 volts.
- Features: POM programming for secondary address, mapping, RailCom, as well as numerous lighting effects (dimming, fading, flashing, stop lights, flashing beacon, etc..), digital detector and smoke generator (regulated according to the dynamics of the engine).
- It is possible to add a 25 volt capacitive extension, provided that the rails do not exceed 24 volts (if so it is recommended to use a 35 volt capacitor). This addition limits the flickering of the lighting when the wheels make contact with the tracks.
- The decoder is DCC compatible, MM in 3 rail AC and 2 rail DC.
