A bit of history:
Cap to the south-east, with PLM's 3-axle, bogie Express train vans with central lookouts. These vans were delivered to the PLM from 1925 for "Express" train services, and not only ran on the major PLM radials, but were also incorporated into national and international services that took them to Calais as well as Bordeaux, Italy, Switzerland or Germany... The SNCF launched a campaign to modernise these vans from 1952, following the same principles as the modernised East vans, modernised vans that would also be the subject of a later reproduction.
