A replica of the Alsatian station, but because of its construction it can be used all over the world. Spacious building in sandstone construction with entrance and exit doors down to the floor, as well as adjoining waiting room. The colour shade of the wall structure was achieved in keeping with the original using a large-scale printing process. The separate annex, in the same colour, serves as a sanitary building. The little station in Alsace-Lorraine: Volgelsheim is now one of the last preserved railway stations in Alsace. Built in the Prussian style, it has typical features of the old station buildings. The clock tower with its four-sided roof is accompanied by two other buildings in the shape of a staircase: a two-storey building with a reception area, a first-floor flat housing the stationmaster and a one-storey annexe used as an office. The latter included a separate toilet and lamp storage area. Volgelsheim station now houses various interesting collections and exhibitions relating to the "Alsatian railway" and forms the starting point for excursions with historic steam locomotives and open platform wagons.
