The brand Bois Modélisme offers the buildable model Bâtiment Demi gare PLM at scale HO 1/87th under reference 101013.
The building has three doors on the track side. For slimline arrays or dioramas, the addition of interior lighting, such as self-adhesive self-regulating LEDs, is useful.
The interchangeable side facades, with one window per facade, provide options. The kit includes additional parts, including shutters and marquee outlines cut from green cardboard in addition to the white cardboard parts.
The model is rich in detail such as downpipes (including for the marquee), gutters, ridge ridges and ridge tiles. Assembly is quick and easy: assemble the façade elements, including the quoins, door and window frames and sub-base walls. Then assemble the facades together, and glue down the frame and roof. As with all Bois Modélisme models, assembly instructions are included. Note: Chimney mitres are not included in the kit.
