A little history:
Locomotive 1041.002, which was damaged in a collision in 1987, was repaired in the main workshop in Linz.As part of the refurbishment, the locomotive was fitted with a new gearbox and additional engines, giving it a top speed of 110 kph.As a result, the machine was entered in the register under the new company number 1041 202 from January 1990. The locomotive stationed on the Attnang-Puchheim rail transport line éwas mainly used on the Salzkammergut railway.
