This Jouef miniature wagon is a very fine reproduction of a railway container ship (reference HJ6195). This miniature model is made up of a flat wagon and two mobile caissons from CNC Transports, an SNCF subsidiary specialising in combined transport. The rolling stock is designed to run on a 1:87 scale miniature rail network. This freight wagon dates from the IV era, so it can be a real addition to a game scene themed on France in the 70s and 80s.
The model in this reproduction is a type S68 container wagon loaded with two 20-foot containers from the Compagnie nouvelle de conteneurs (CNC Transports) . Many details are reproduced, despite the reduction coefficient:
- two highly detailed bogies
- four metallised axles
- the SNCF-CNC marking of the containers
- many moulded or engraved details

Production of this type of freight wagons dates back to the early 1970s. At the time, 300 examples were manufactured. This rolling stock is integrated intofreight trainscirculating between multimodal platforms, where the swap bodies change modes of transport (trucks, ships, etc.). Fitted with special bogies, this towed equipment is used exclusively for transporting containers and cannot exceed 120 km/h.
