Under reference BM215006, find a beau mirliton 1 stripe, signalling the arrival of a reduced visibility signal in 100 metres, to scale N 1/160th.
Petits précisions:
SNCF mirlitons warn the driver of a train that he is about to approach a signal with reduced visibility. One mirliton is placed 100 metres before it a second and a third can also be placed further upstream, set at a distance of 100 metres from each other.
On lines with speeds of up to 60 km/h, a single mirliton with a single black band is used. On lines with speeds between 60 km/h and 120 km/h, two mirlitons are set up : one with one and the other with two black stripes. On lines with speeds greater than 120 km/h, three mirlitons are implanted upstream of the signal, with one, two and three black stripes respectively.
Characteristics of the elements:
- Post finely printed in 3 dimensions.
- Black and white plastic sign.
Assembly:
- Glue the sign to the post using Cyanoacrylate glue.
To improve the realism, you can:
- Thin the sign using fine sandpaper.
- Paint the back of the sign.
- Give it an aged look with a light application of decorating clay.
- Use the holes to simulate fixing bolts.
