Présentation de la motrice sous référence 72066,
This multiple unit is distinguished by its blue and yellow varnished livery. It was originally used by the Swiss and Dutch railways for TEE traffic.
The train ran in Canada from 1977 on the Toronto and Timmins lines in the province of Ontario. Because of the extreme temperature, it damaged the diesel engines. So, after two years in service, these locomotives were replaced by FP-7Am locomotives.
.Thanks to the Swiss and Dutch TEE fans, the 2 pilot cars have been kept in Europe. These pilot cars are in the Netherlands and are being restored.
Manufacturer Roco,
Austrian-born rail modelling brand Roco was founded in 1960 by Heinz Rössler. The manufacturer specialises in designing products based on railway models.
Roco produces all types of railway equipment (wagons, carriages, locomotives) from the various eras (I, II, III, IV, V and VI). Generally speaking, the manufacturer produces products in various scales, such as HO: 1/87; N: 1/160 and TT: 1/120.
The brand is characterised by their sense of detail, and the robustness of their products, which are made from metallic materials. Their products are as close as possible to the real thing, and some of them (the Digitales Sound models) offer highly realistic sound effects.
The brand also offers railway accessories (damaged parts, tyres, couplers, etc.) and digital modules (analogue control unit, digital control unit, digital remote control, etc.).
