History of the model:
The CC 1100 series "mille-Pattes" locomotives are former electric locomotives first put into service for the PO (Compagnie du chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans), then taken over by the SNCF railway company in 1948. They were in service between 1937 and 2005.
These railway models were used to serve various marshalling yards, where they hauled freight wagons until 2005. These locomotives were controlled from the marshalling yard control posts. Subsequently, the CC 1100s were used in the SNCF FRET motor vehicle fleets.
