On the occasion of the twentieth anniversaryof Alstom's Prima 2U series, Os.Kar and Distrimodel present the BB 427011M locomotive from FRET SNCF®, dedicated to Fleet Technical Supervision ( STF ) of Freight Electric Locomotives ( Lens ).
This locomotive carries the May 2018 livery, with the UIC registration on its sides and the Carmillon logo.
Initially delivered to the Avignon facility in December 2001, BB 427011 was fitted with two front window wipers before being modified around 2006.
In 2011, the bow of the 1.5 kV continuous pantograph was replaced, allowing it to run under the Midi catenary.
Note that the letter "M" has been affixed following the number, indicating that this locomotive is one of the 64 BB 27000 locomotives suitable for the Midi catenary.
