Esu offers a LokPilot V5 Decoder for HO 1/87th scale model trains under part number 59612.
- This LokPilot V5 operating in DCC / MM / SX / M4, is equipped with the latest RailComPlus technology, making it easy to connect to an appropriate digital control unit.
- LokPilot V5 decoder compatible with PluX22 interface and NEM 658 socket.
- You can use this decoder with SelecTrix, but you must first program the features in DCC mode (programming with Selectrix is impossible).
The features of the LokPilot V5 decoder:
This digital device is a multi-protocol decoder, mastering the data format in DCC, Motorola, Selectrix, and M4. In DCC format, the decoder can vary its speed between 14 and 128 notches, offering up to 32 functions.
Thanks to RailComPlus technology, this decoder automatically connects to an appropriate digital exchange. It also masters all DCC programming modes, CV values on the main track can be read with suitable control centres. There are auxiliary registers for control centres that can only program CVs between 1 and 255.
This module recognises Märklin braking sections and Zimo, HLU / Zack e Lenz ABC controls. You can also proceed to DCC braking modules, stopping with a Selectrix brake diode.
The decoder can be used on DCC analogue miniature networks. The speed can then be programmed independently for each motor. The decoder automatically switches between the different operating modes.
The decoder can also be used with the DCC miniature analogue networks.
The features of the digital decoder under reference 59612:
- The LokPilot 5 decoder offers up to 10 outputs with a current of 250mA each.
- Light intensities can be adjusted separately.
The motor control of the ESU digital device:
The motor control has benefited from a number of improvements, such as a PWM frequency with variable settings between 10 kHz and 50 kHz, ensuring very quiet operation. Gone are the hums of the past, replaced by silent operation!
The load control now has up to 10 HP, adjustable at any time.
The "Autotune" function automatically calibrates the decoder to the engine. The LokPhone is also equipped with an "Autotune" function.
This LokPilot V5 provides power up to 0.9 A.
The safety aspect of the ESU 59612 decoder:
This digital module features outputs that are protected in the event of electrical overloads, preventing damage to this equipment.
