Description

Esu offers an 8-pin DC / MM / SX encoder foréchelles N 1/160ème and TT 1/220ème under référence 59810.

This LokPilot V5 is to date the smallest digital encoder offered by manufacturer ESU. This digital module uses several miniature components and features the latest manufacturing technology offered by Esu, enabling it to offer a size of just 8 x 7 mm and a thickness of 2.4 mm.

This digital encoder can be integrated into a number of locomotives on the N 1/160ème and TT 1/120ème scales.

Features of the LokPilot V5 encoder:

This digital device is a multi-protocol encoder, mastering the DCC, Motorola, Selectrix, and M4 data format. In DCC format, the encoder can vary its speed between 14 and 128 steps, offering up to 32 functions.

Thanks to RailComPlus technology, this encoder connects automatically to an appropriate digital control unit. It also masters all DCC programming modes, and the CV values on the main track can be read with appropriate control centres. Auxiliary registers are available for control centres that can only program CVs between 1 and 255.

.

Supporting the M4 protocol, benefit from 32 functions for the Next18 and PluX16 variants, with automatic registrations for mfx-compatible control centres.

This module recognises Märklin braking sections and Zimo, HLU / Zack e Lenz ABC controls. You can also make DCC braking modules, stopping with a Selectrix brake diode.

This module recognises Märklin braking sections and Zimo, HLU / Zack e Lenz ABC controls.

The encoder can be used on DC analogue miniature networks. The maximum speed can then be programmed separately. The encoder switches between the various operating modes automatically.

The features of the 59210 reference digital encoder:

The micro encoder has a large number of function outputs, enabling your miniature locomotives to be used in a variety of ways. Variants with 6-pin or 8-pin wiring harnesses provide 4 amplified function outputs, each delivering 180 mA.

Versions with Next18 or PluX16 interface have a total of 6 amplified outputs.

The LokPilot V5 encoder makes it possible to set the most important lighting effects. Their intensity can then be controlled separately.

The digital module controls the automatic push and pull when uncoupling Roco, Krois and Telex fittings.

The ESU digital device motor control:

The motor controller has benefited from a number of improvements, such as a PWM frequency with a variable setting between 10 kHz and 50 kHz, ensuring very quiet operation. Gone is the hum of the past, gone is silent operation!

.

The charge control now has up to 10 HP, which can be adjusted at any time.

This LokPilot V5 supplies up to 0.75 A, more than enough to suit most of today's motors.

The safety aspect of the ESU 59210 encoder:

A PowerPack is available, allowing dirty channels to be bypassed (can be installed on the LokPilot V5 micro). The function outputs and motor output are protected against the risk of overload. Allowing you to keep your digital device for as long as possible.
