Shuttle control allows a train to run automatically between 2 stations. Track contacts are not required. The train’s position is known at all times thanks to integrated electronic signalling. The module contains the electronics required for progressive acceleration and braking in the stopping zone. The stopping time in the station can be adjusted separately for the 2 stations. 4 LEDs are used to check that the module is operating correctly. The module integrates the control electronics for 2 station exit signals with progressive light change (like the 5210 module). By adding a switch (Viessmann part no. 6835, not included), the train can leave the shuttle track. Manual control can be obtained using push buttons. The module allows the speed to be adjusted over the whole shuttle track, so a transformer with a speed regulator is not required. 14 V AC or 16 V DC power supply. Please note: can only be used with 2-track non-digital direct current.
