Discover our range of CC 65000 diesel locomotives from the manufacturer Mistral on our Jura Modélisme website.
History of the model:
In 1954, the SNCF railway company wanted to produce diesel locomotives to move away from steam models as quickly as possible.
The CC 65000 locomotives were put into service by the SNCF on 1st February 1955. They were the first "line" series to be designed to serve passengers and goods. The series was withdrawn from the rail network between 1981 and 1988, and only 2 models are preserved today: CC 65001, which is attached to the Cité du Train in Mulhouse, and CC 65005, which serves the Agrivap - Ambert line.
In 1957-1958, the 060 DB locomotive underwent trials on Renfe's Spanish rail network after being fitted with a generator.
This is why the miniature train manufacturer Mistral reproduced its models in HO scale: 1/87th.
