The NMBS/SNCB 81 series was a class of steam locomotives used by Belgian railways. These locomotives were specially designed for transporting heavy goods on the main lines. The 81 series locomotives were built between 1945 and 1956 by the Societé Franco-Belge, the Societé Anonyme John Cockerill and the Societé Anonyme Métallurgique et de Construction de Tubize.
