A little history:
The Class 751 is a diesel-electric universal locomotive.Between 1966 and 1971, 230 locomotives of the series were built for the CSD à Prague's CKD factory. The locomotive reaches a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The 6-cylinder turbocharged engine develops 1,500 hp.
Its field of work ranged from international express trains to passenger trains and from heavy goods trains to collectors. They could also be found at border crossings in surrounding states. The projecting porches beneath the front windows soon earned it the nickname "Bardotka", loosely after Brigitte Bardot, the French actress.
