A little bit of history:
The locomotives belonging to the 186 series came from Bombardier's second TRAXX generation. They were built on the basis of the TRAXX F140 AC, and adapted to 1.5 kV direct current networks (Netherlands and France), as well as 3 kV networks (Belgium, Poland and Italy).
With an operating weight of 85 tonnes, these locomotives produced 5,600 kW at a speed of 140 km/h. 65 locomotives were operated by DB / AG and mainly run in Germany, France and Austria.
