On Saturday 29 October 2022, the Rhaetian Railway is officially attempting to run the world's longest passenger train on the Albula railway line (a UNESCO heritage site). This world record has been set by RhB as a contribution to the 175th anniversary of the Swiss railways, a feat that has never been achieved before. The event is being supported by a number of Swiss and German partners, including companies specialising in technology, the miniature railway industry, tourism and the media.

BEMO Modelleisenbahnen GmbH & Co KG is a German manufacturer of miniature trains based in Uhingen in Baden-Württemberg. The manufacturer's range mainly includes model vehicles in HOm and HOe 1/87th scale, but also in the rarer Om 1/43.5th scale, based on models of Swiss metre gauge railways and Saxon and Württemberg narrow gauge railways.
To complete this range, the company also creates Austrian prototypes for HO 1/87th and N 1/160th tracks. Large series models are in plastic small series models are in brass and kits and finished models are in white metal.
