A little history:
The 86 series was a standard tank locomotive that was built in large numbers by many German locomotive factories for the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Some of these steam locomotives found their way to Austria after the end of the war and were used for passenger and freight transport. One of the most spectacular jobs was the pre-stressing work for the heavy ore trains in front of the 52 series. The last locomotives were parked in 1972.
