A little history:
For many years, the E 10 series (from 1968 : 110) was the most important express train locomotive of the Deutsche Bundesbahn . From route 288, they received a new locomotive body. This ensured better aerodynamics, but also the name "fold". The locomotives reached a maximum speed of 150 km/h with a power of 3 620 kW. With the colour palette ocean blue and ivory from 1974, many 110s were repainted in this livery on the occasion of overhauls.
