A little touch of history:
For the "Rollerbockbahn", the éobjective was to connect numerous industrial operations to the Saxon State railway network. To this end, in 1902, 3 Fairlie locomotives were delivered as the I M series. These 10.5-metre-long locomotives, weighing 42 tonnes, produced 330 horsepower and could reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h.
