A little touch of history:
The Bavarian S 3/6, often called the "Queen of steam locomotives", it carried the main load of German express train services until the advent of the 01 series. Not only did it continue to be built until after 1931, but also because it could be expected to make long journeys that the 01 couldn't cover without losing power. And if anyone thinks that a Bavarian locomotive was only used in Bavaria during the Bundesbahn era, they're wrong. Bavarian locomotives hauled just about every train that had their place and their name.
Although most of the S 3/6s in the a to c series had been withdrawn from service by 1950, it seems realistic that one of these legendary express locomotives, like some of its younger sisters, took on a DB emblem and continued to be cherished as an irreplaceable locomotive by a team of enthusiastic locomotive engineers.
Presentation Roco manufacturer,
Austrian-born model railway brand Roco was founded in 1960 by Heinz Rössler. This manufacturer specialises in designing products derived from model railways.
Roco produces all types of railway equipment (wagons, carriages, locomotives) from different eras (I, II, III, IV, V or even VI). Generally speaking, the manufacturer designs products in various scales such as: HO: 1/87th; N: 1/160th and TT: 1/120th.
The brand is characterised by their eye for detail, and the robustness of their products, which are designed from metallic materials. Their products are as close to the real thing as possible, and for some (the Digitales Sound models) offer very well-reproduced sound effects.
The brand also offers railway accessories (spare parts, tyres, couplers, etc.) and digital modules (analogue controller, digital control unit, digital remote control, etc.).
